Mars has been tattooing since 2008. Their career began in the DC metro area and they found their way to the mountains of Western NC in 2017.
Mars believes tattooing can be a healing art, a coming of age ritual, and in general is a transmutative experience. It can also just be a way to decorate your body with silly pictures. They enjoy all of it, and strive to create an empowering and compassionate experience for all clients looking to decorate their earthly vessel.
Mars's style is illustrative and lively. They work with all kinds of imagery, but get particularly excited about natural organic things such as plants, animals, mushrooms, people/humanoids, sprites, gods, mythical creatures, witches, wizards, skulls, skeletons, astrological pieces and more They also love doing black and grey portraits.
All bodies are welcome in Mars' chair, please let them know ahead of time if you require any special accommodations.
Mars has a minimum of $100, and charges $200 per hour. Tattoos that take less than 1 hour are a flat $100 rate.
