SHOP POLICIES

(AKA Customer Code of Conduct)

Hate speech will NOT be tolerated.

If you choose to speak out of turn about anyone that is BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, houseless, body shame, ANY type of derogatory language one of two things will happen depending on the severity of the situation. 

1. You will be granted a one time learning/ teaching moment where changed behavior is expected immediately following.

2. You will be asked to leave the premises (potentially forfeiting any and all deposits)

Sexual language or harassment will NOT be tolerated.

NO means NO. It is a complete sentence. If this needs further explaining, you will be asked to leave the premises.

If you inappropriately touch yourself, staff, or another client, authorities will be called to remove you from the premises.

Violent language or threats of violence will NOT be tolerated.

We place a high value on keeping this a safe space for people and if that is compromised we will do whatever is necessary to correct the situation.

Please arrive sober.

If it is found that you are under the influence we are happy to arrange a safe ride home for you and discuss matters with you at a later date when you are sober and of sound body and mind.  Morally, ethically, and legally we cannot provide services to you if you are under the influence.

Please arrive clean and comfortable.

Come dressed as you please. We suggest something that is comfortable and suitable for the service you are seeking. However, if you look like you crawled out of a mud puddle we may need to reschedule your appointment. We cannot safely or adequately provide sanitary services if the service area is drastically affected by visible/ physical dirt.

 

* We are a family friendly business and have children in and out of the common areas, please be mindful of your language and behaviors. *

** If you are asked to leave and or are removed from the premises by authorities, consider that your notice of being permanently banned **


 

PIERCING POLICIES

If you walk in you are not guaranteed a service.

 

If our staff is unavailable we will suggest you make an appointment. 

​In order to be guaranteed you will be assisted at a specific time, an appointment is required.

Be sure to follow our social media accounts to be in the know about walk in availability!

 

Appointments required for guaranteed piercing and jewelry services.

A 5 Minute tardiness grace period is allowed for a 30 minute appointment slot. If you arrive past this grace period without prior communication with your piercer, you forfeit your deposit.

 

A 10 Minute tardiness grace period is allowed for a 60 minute appointment slot. 

If you arrive past this grace period without prior communication with your piercer, you forfeit your deposit.

 

A 15 minute tardiness grace period is allowed for a 90 minute appointment slot. If you arrive past this grace period without prior communication with your piercer, you forfeit your deposit.

If you are running late and or a life emergency has occurred, communicate via Square as calling the shop is not a guaranteed method of communication with any staff. Failure to do so may result in being labeled a no-no show and forfeiture of your deposit.

 

If you show up to your appointment past your appointment time/ grace period WITHOUT prior communication with your piercer, your deposit will be forfeit. 

All minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian with proper identification(EG: Birth certificate, Driver's Permit/ License, etc).

Please be sure to read the description, cancellation policy, and follow instructions accordingly while booking. You must read and agree to the cancellation/refund policy before our system will allow you to book. w

All Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE. Credit may be retained for rescheduling ONLY with 48 hour notice, barring life/ medical emergencies.

TATTOO POLICIES

Danica has a minimum set up cost of $100, and charge $200 per hour. Tattoos that take less than 1 hour are a flat $100 rate.

A non-refundable retainer of $50-$100 is required to book an appointment. This can be paid with credit/debit cards or cash in person. 

Consultations are always free.

Touch ups are free within 60 days of the initial appointment, or free with any new future tattoo appointments. Touch ups on their own will be priced starting at my minimum cost and depending on how much work is required. Please contact Danica directly (via email, or direct message on FB or IG) to set up your touch up.

Communication is required if you’re running late to your appointment. Based on Danica's schedule and appointment times, any more than 30 minutes will result in your appointment being rescheduled. 

If you are over 30 minutes late and haven’t responded to a courtesy message or communicated your tardiness, your appointment and your retainer will be forfeit and rescheduling will be done at Danica's discretion.

Rescheduling is allowed up to 48 hours in advance of your appointment; this will move your retainer to another day. After 48 hours, rescheduling and moving your retainer will be decided at Danica's discretion, a second retainer may be required to reschedule. 

Refunds on retainer fees are only allowed within 24 hours of booking. 

All deposits are non-refundable if you fail to adhere to the above policies.

​FAQ

Do you pierce under 18? 

We sure do! Our age and ID requirements are listed below.

AGE: We start piercing lobes at age 5. Other various ear and facial piercings start at 13. We do NOT pierce tongues, nipples, genitals, or do surface piercings under the age of 18.

ID for Minors: Birth certificate, Passport, Driver's License/ Permit, etc.

ID for Guardians: Passport, Driver's License/ Permit, etc. 

*Proof of ID is required for the minor AND consenting guardian*

**If guardian and minor last names do not match we will need court documents such as a marriage certificate, adoption, and or custody paperwork to prove guardianship.**

How much do piercings cost?

Piercings are broken down into two parts: (Fees plus jewelry)

1. Our piercing fees are as follows: 1 piercing = $50 plus jewelry, 2 = $75 plus jewelry, 3 = $100 plus jewelry.

2. Jewelry costs vary as our selection is expansive and appeals to a wide variety of tastes and budgets. Some items start as low as $20. Jewelry options will also vary based on anatomy and the type of piercing requested. 

Do Piercings hurt?

Yes, of course they hurt. However, everyone’s pain tolerance and ability to sit through pain will vary. We do our absolute best to minimize client discomfort though.

Do you use numbing creams for piercings?

No, we do not. They can often distort the tissue which can result in an improper/ unsafe angle creating irritation and difficulty healing.

How old do you have to be to get tattooed?

In the state of North Carolina the individual has to be 18+ and provide valid ID.

Can a parent sign for a tattoo on someone younger than 18?

No, absolutely not. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 in NC regardless if there is parental consent or not.

How much do tattoos cost?

The shop minimum is $100. Large scale work and or entire day sessions are charged by the hour and are $200 per hour. We will try our best to work with all budgets to give you a tattoo you will love for the rest of your life.

Do you have numbing creams for tattoos?

We do not sell any numbing agents in house but ​you may contact our artist directly for suggestions on numbing creams!
